From Wild Woman Rising founder Nikki Lizares comes this tender narrative that spans the globe - from the sunlit coasts of Bacolod, where her journey begins, to the vast, starry savannah of Africa and other far reaches of the world.

Moonlit Tides is an invitation to explore the currents of your own life, discovering along the way that no matter how far we roam, we are always homeward bound.

Ecology & Women’s Work

WHO WE ARE

Wild Woman Rising was founded in 2022 with the intention of creating a space for meaningful conversation, personal explorations, and story telling.

Rooted in the wisdom of deep ecology, eco-feminism, and the archetype of the Wild Woman, our community is one dedicated to the work of discerning, aligning, and integrating our instinctual natures, especially those of the feminine aspect of Nature: rooted, nurturing, deeply intuitive, embodied, and interconnected.

To learn the ways of Wild Woman is to learn to discern when to plant, when to harvest, and when to rest; when and how to flow with one’s grief, channel one’s passion or anger, or when to unleash joy.

Most of all, to rise as Wild Woman is to nurture a healthy curiosity and deep compassion towards all creatures and beings we come across.

WHAT WE DO

Our courses, circles, and gatherings are meant to guide an exploration of both inner and outer landscapes. Through community and story telling, we hope to offer women everywhere an opportunity for connection and deeper inquiry into the mystical and mythical connections between the resurfacing of the divine feminine, care for nature, and the role of women in community and resistance work.

WOMEN’S CIRCLES

We host monthly as well as seasonal gatherings for women to come together to reflect on various ecological and philosophical themes. Check out our Substack to learn more.

RETREATS

Intimate gatherings where women come together to connect, remember, and celebrate. Upcoming: Homecoming - Return to the Tidal Mother on Dec 6-8, 2024

BOOK CLUBS AND OTHER WORKSHOPS

Sister Stories, our flagship 16-week deep dive into the stories from the seminal book Women Who Run with the Wolves, is now on it’s 3rd year and draws participants from the Philippines and around the world.
